New Service - Nano-indentation Research Service

CFIGS is pleased to announce a new research service on the Geo Shopfront. Measurement of the mechanical properties of materials, rocks and minerals at the micrometer scale. It is a powerful, non-destructive technique for determining properties like hardness and elastic modulus at the micrometer scale by analyzing the load-displacement curve from the test. Testing can range from a single measurement point to arrays of up to nearly 1000 measurements for statistical analysis.
